We are making not only the measurement data but also the software behind the platform freely available. This way, everyone can see how the information is processed. Moreover, the community can help further improve and renew the platform!

In the previous version, the underlying system was managed for many years by the UK Met Office. With respect for their great efforts, we are now deliberately choosing to make the entire operation fully open. This ensures that the service will not suddenly be discontinued again in the future, and allows us to build a sustainable and reliable platform together with the users.
